correct – I do confirm, that KB2496089 is already included in SP1 and therefore will be removed from my list 😉

Consider the following scenario:
You configure a failover cluster that has three or more nodes that are running Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1).
You have cluster disks that are configured in groups other than the Available Storage group or that are used for Cluster Shared Volumes (CSV).
These disks are online when you run the Validate SCSI Device Vital Product Data (VPD) test or the List Potential Cluster Disks storage validation test.

Thanks for your feedback here, hotfix 2496089 is included SP1 as you can find in reference here “Updates in Win7 and WS08R2 SP1.xls“. I removed this hotfix from this list as it does not apply at SP1 systems.

I have one computer that running windows 7 and want to have a Dev Environment running on this machine.
I tried to install Windows Server 2008 r2 with Hyper-V role on a VirtualBox virtual machine, but I can’t get this role to be installed, since it’s need a raw access to the processor.
My goal is to have a virtualized windows server that running Hyper-V, that I can install on it all the machines that I want to have in my environment: 2 IIS servers, 1 SQL Server, Load Balancer, and build server.
Can I get a little help from you guys, to help me achieve this?

Hyper-V does require hardware virtualization (Virtualization, XBit) support which is not present when you virtualize the system. Therefore you cannot run Hyper-V within a virtualized system. Only way to achieve this is to deploy at a physical machine Hyper-V and put all your VMs on top of it 😉
